Halloween Card

It's true, I don't normally send Halloween cards.   I CASEd this idea I saw on Pinterest.  The purple with the black was so perfect, I just had to make it!

 I added quite a few details to my card from the one I saw.  I used my Alcohol Markers for the hat, and watercolor pencils for the kitty and broom.  Unlike the treat packaging where I cut a bunch of the images out of the Designer Series paper, here I stamped and colored each of the images.

I also added quite a few of the glitter enamel dots.  In addition to the Wink of Stella, they had the perfect amount of sparkle.

Merry Christmas Series

I don't normally do this, but I want to SERIOUSLY recommend the stamp and die bundle I'm featuring on this page.  It has everything you need for stamped greetings on Christmas cards and Die cuts you can use as greetings.  The fonts are beautiful!  

Each of these cards features foil and/or glimmer paper.

This DSP from the Holiday catalog doesn't need much.  I really love the photo paper.  Just add some details, and you've got a really beautiful card.

Here's another example of beautiful designer paper.  I added the three colors of glimmer paper to this as well as a lace die cut on the edge.  

 

You'll see the Dashing Deer again this season - this is the first time I've played with it.  I used some Real Red cardstock to cut the Merry, and the copper glimmer paper for the rest as well as the Buffalo Check for the background.  It still needs something, I just don't want to go overboard with it.

Christmas Lights!

Oh!  I LOVE Christmas tree lights!  I miss the old bulbs from my childhood that used to make noise when they were lit on the tree.  I used to lie on the sofa in the back living room with Christmas music on the stereo, reading with only the light of the tree in the room.  I miss that so much.

 This first card is pretty simple and clean.  I stamped the light string just 3 times, colored the lights with markers, and added Wink of Stella to make them sparkle.  The stamp and die cut are popped with dimensionals, and the greeting is stamped in Gorgeous Grape. 

Layering up this card was lots of fun!
I cut the sentiment, and made a scalloped backing for it as well as two banners to place behind it.
I also added many more strings of lights!  So much fun!

 On the inside I stamped just 3 for a greeting continued from the card front.  Lots of Wink of Stella for sparkle!

Christmas Poinsettias

Such a strange thing... I LOVE to craft with Poinsettias.  I dislike them intensely in my house!  No, it's not because I have cats.  I do think they're beautiful - I just don't like them in my house.  I know...a very strange thing.

In addition to the Peaceful Poinsettia Bundle, I used the greetings from Timeless Tidings. 

 This card has many layers.  Some you can see, and some you have to search for.

 Here you can see the matching Shaded Spruce die cuts.  Details, details, details!  I really like this card.  Every time I run into it on my craft desk it makes me happy.

The interior of the card is stamped with pieces from the Timeless Tidings Stamp set.
