Mail A Card Monday!

It's Monday morning!  Do you have your cards ready to go today for #mailacardMonday?

After working on this project for a week, I quickly realized I didn't have enough cards that weren't birthday cards to send out in the mail!

SO I did a #loveitchopit session and cut up the rest of my pack of the Gingham Gala paper.  I used mat size cuts 4" by 5 1/4".

I used the scraps cut off the DSP to stamp and punch out the vases.  I merged the two stamp sets to add in all the flowers.  The orchids have tiny rhinestones on the three largest, and I used the Gingham Gala sequins to add more sparkle.

 Above shows the Balmy Blue Gingham, and below you can see the Grapefruit Grove Gingham paper.

The 'a little note' greeting comes from the Butterfly Gala stamp set, and the "Thinking of You" is from the Treat Time stamp set.

 Here you have the Daffodil Delight Gingham, and below is the Highland Heather gingham.

 I also used the strips for decorating the insides of the cards.

I got 18 cards out of the last of my Gingham paper.  Using the whole pack, you could get 40 cards!  I just used what I had left to make these 18.

Kansas City Regional Swap 1 of 3

This year our regional meeting is in Kansas City.  Last year we went to Dallas, and I was thrilled to be back in Texas.  I know this will be a great meeting - but I'd sure like to be in Texas!

That said, this is the first of 3 posts of swaps I'm taking.

I made 36 of this card.  My suggestion to anyone using these dies - a shim!  It will make cutting these so much easier!

Essentially, this is a very simple card.  It's just so pretty!  My upline Kathy turned me on to this color combination.
I love this Thank You stamp so much - I use it as much as I can.
