Christmas in July - Carols of Christmas with Peace on Earth

This card I cased from another demonstrator.  She did a fantastic job!  I'm pretty happy with my version - I will make a few changes when I demo this card.
I got out the brayer for this card.  Use Shimmer White cardstock so the color will lay nicely.  The 'trick' with the brayer is to keep working the roller in one direction without stopping.  That way it takes out some of the lines you get from the edge.  I used 4 colors on the background with some sponging to keep the colors separate.
Night of Navy, Berry Burst, Daffodil Delight, and Wild Wasabi were used from top to bottom to give it the look of twilight.

Here (below) you can see the card front builder piece I used to cut out the top.  I placed a piece of Daffodil Delight cardstock behind it, then added some Wink of Stella to make the moon and stars sparkle.
I cut out 2 of the double trees, and 3 single trees to give the 'forest' look and used dimensionals to attach them to the card for depth.

Christmas in July - Snow Flurries

I can't actually call this one Starry Starry Night, though the name does fit - a bit.  I got out the Dazzling Diamonds glitter and had some fun!

The embossing buddy on this card is definitely your friend!  The Dazzling Diamonds glitter isn't just sparkly (like yesterday's trees), it's almost holographic.  Each way you look at this card, the glitter on the Navy background changes color.  Amazing.

As most cards - this one definitely works better in person.

Last Christmas Card of 2016.... then on to 2017!

Here again I've used the stamp set Lovely as a Tree.  This card is very simple - but stunning!  You need only three items to produce this card (see below) and impress your friends and family!

Cut the Night of Navy panel just large enough to fit the trees image.  Add 1/4 inch border to the white cardstock to create a contrasting frame..
Use the Embossing Buddy lightly over the areas you plan to emboss.

NOTE: I have the wooden set, and have included both the wood and clear sets below for the Stamp set Lovely as a Tree.  You need only one.
