Hidden Surprise Card

This card is the first one I made to prepare for the video.  It's a Hidden Surprise Card, and uses the main colors Calypso Coral along with the butterflies from the new DSP coming out soon called Butterfly Bijou.

You can order amazing Suite now!  This is an early release from the 2021 Annual Catalog so it will be available for well over a year.  The paper is gorgeous and is a lot of fun to play with!  So many things that can be done.

Halloween Card

It's true, I don't normally send Halloween cards.   I CASEd this idea I saw on Pinterest.  The purple with the black was so perfect, I just had to make it!

I added quite a few details to my card from the one I saw.  I used my Alcohol Markers for the hat, and watercolor pencils for the kitty and broom.  Unlike the treat packaging where I cut a bunch of the images out of the Designer Series paper, here I stamped and colored each of the images.
I also added quite a few of the glitter enamel dots.  In addition to the Wink of Stella, they had the perfect amount of sparkle.

Christmas Lights!

Oh!  I LOVE Christmas tree lights!  I miss the old bulbs from my childhood that used to make noise when they were lit on the tree.  I used to lie on the sofa in the back living room with Christmas music on the stereo, reading with only the light of the tree in the room.  I miss that so much.

This first card is pretty simple and clean.  I stamped the light string just 3 times, colored the lights with markers, and added Wink of Stella to make them sparkle.  The stamp and die cut are popped with dimensionals, and the greeting is stamped in Gorgeous Grape.

Layering up this card was lots of fun!
I cut the sentiment, and made a scalloped backing for it as well as two banners to place behind it.
I also added many more strings of lights!  So much fun!
On the inside I stamped just 3 for a greeting continued from the card front.  Lots of Wink of Stella for sparkle!

Two Simple, Quick Christmas Cards

Here I am presenting two quite simple cards.  They didn't take long at all.  It took more time to decide what color to make the ornaments than to stamp both cards.

~ and the stockings were hung ~ comes from the hostess stamp set Hung with Care.  When I saw the sample from the catalog, it struck me that the ornaments could hang from that too - even though the words don't seem to exactly work perfectly - it's a good spot to hang the ornaments from!
You'll see this again - I have other ideas for the ornaments.

This card also came together very quickly!  It took the longest to decide which blue ink to use for that blue stocking!  Blueberry Bushel worked out perfectly.
I added a touch of Wink of Stella, and some rhinestones colored with the Stampin' Blends.  On the inside, a small red stocking hangs from the Merry Christmas greeting.
