2022 Resolutions - Send those Cards!

Yes!  I made resolutions last year, and kept them!

This year I plan on keeping the one resolution I am going to make.

I showed this one at club a year or two ago and still just love it so much.  It's an easel card.  

Birthday cards!

I already have them in the works - and will be sending out birthday cards this year.  So many of the card makers I know produce a lot of cards - and don't send them!  My resolution this year is to send out those birthday cards!

Pretty Perennials

 This stamp set has so many possibilities!  Over time, you're going to see a lot of cards/projects made with it.  Today I just wanted to do some basic #simplestamping with it.

Stamps, ink, paper, a bit of ribbon, and enamel dots.

There are quite a few colors... and this shows off the Magenta Madness much better than the pictures I took of the zebra card from a few days ago!

I talk often about decorating envelopes.  Yes, I do stamp the back quite often, but I mean the front of the envelope!  I echoed the colors from the card so the stamping was easy while I made the card. 

You'll see this set again.  It has so many possibilities!

Kid's Birthday Card - A VERY Special Kiddo

I have to admit I was being a little lazy with this.  I should have but didn't get out my Cricut. 

This stamp set is just the cutest!  Cute As A Bug!  It's called Wiggle Worm.  I wasn't impressed with my first try at it, but this time I colored in the bugs with my alcohol markers, then stamped the design on the bug.

That's definitely the way to go with these!

This card is for a very special little boy.  We love him so very much!

Happy Birthday!

My dear friend Rozella's Birthday was in December (and she received this card on time).  I wanted to work with some of our new Occasions stamps for her card.

I used lots of fun things on this card.  DSP (Designer Series Paper), watercoloring, and die cuts.  My friend really loves the Melon Mambo so I stayed near that color for coordinating pieces.

The Happy Birthday die cuts come from a HUGE set of dies called Well Written from the Occasions catalog.  I've already used them a lot and you'll continue seeing them on different posts.

I had some of the banner pieces in a little baggie and thought they'd be perfect to mix with the new cake.  I watercolored the cake to match the Bermuda Bay and Melon Mambo pieces I already had, then punched them, and mounted them on top of a piece of ribbon I had left over from another project.  The sequins (yes, I used to hate them - No, I don't anymore) are from the Gingham suite.  The background is embossed with the new Lace embossing folder, and then I used a light touch with a sponge dauber to bring up the design a bit more.

Varied Vases in the In Colors

These 5 cards are inspired by a fellow demonstrator, Linda Allen.  I did make some changes from her initial design.
This card features the cardstock, ink, and DSP in Lovely Lipstick.

 I used one of the Delicate Lace Edgelits and die cut each white card base as a fancy shelf. 

This next card features the cardstock, ink, and DSP in Grapefruit Grove.

 This card features the cardstock, ink, and DSP in Pineapple Punch.  It's a bright, sunny yellow.

 This card features the cardstock, ink, and DSP in Call Me Clover.  I lamented that Emerald Envy didn't get added to the color collection, but this green is very close, and I like it very much!

 This last card features the cardstock, ink, and DSP in Blueberry Bushel.

  There are so many things to do with this stamp set.  This is just a small preview
