Baptism Card

I needed a very special card for a Baptism.
White on white with a touch of silver.
I also used the velveteen paper we had for a very short time.

Christmas in July - July 18, 2018

You don't usually see all white cards from me.  This one is special.  I spent most of the other day watching HSN's craft day, and got the idea for this card.
I'm showing 3 pictures because each one highlights a different part of the card.  The picture above shows that this is an easel card.  It fits perfectly in a regular A2 envelope but when opened and placed behind the 'stopper', stands up!  It also takes a bit more cardstock than a regular card, but it's so stunning - I will make more of these in different designs.
In this picture, you can see the silver embossed Season's Greetings, and the silver foil I used to make an accent piece.
Here you can see the entire card - especially the top.  When the card sits up, you can see the snowflake topper.

You'll see this card again.  I made it for a very special purpose.

Father's Day Card

I'm still playing with my new program Photoshop 15 and learning so much!

This set is soon to be retired, Nailed It.  It has some fantastic masculine card options.  I saw a few samples like this, and added some details to make this card all my own.

This is a card we're making for my May club date.  It uses quite a few techniques.

After stamping the tools in black, and die cutting them, I then stamped the handles of the saw and hammer on a piece of the new wood paper pack.  A little fussy cutting, and voila! wood handles on the tools.  I used the watercolor pencils on each of the metal pieces of the tools, and also the handle of the screwdriver.

The only embellishments in addition to the embossed silver foil are the two metallic elements on the hexagonal Happy Father's Day piece.  The silver foil embossed beautifully in the Dynamic Textured Impressions folder!  It added the perfect touch to the gray background.
