Annual Tags Event 3

The first two tags featured here use the Buffalo Check Background stamp.   Take a look around... clothing, decor - the Buffalo Check is everywhere!

This tag actually came together very quickly.  You could many many of these in a very short time.  The next tag too, actually.
The greeting above and the reindeer below come from the same stamp/die set.  Dashing Deer has lots of options!  The two white die cuts come from the die set Stitched Labels.  Both of the sets are so versatile!

I LOVE this tag!  It took time and lots of die cuts.  So worth it in the end!  This is the tag I used 4 reds to color the poinsettia.  More about that below.
Everything from this tag save the Stitched Labels die come from the Poinsettia stamp set and die cuts.
I used 4 red Stampin' Blends to color this poinsettia.  Real Red Dark, Real Red Light, Cherry Cobbler Dark, and Cherry Cobbler Light.  As in any alcohol marker coloring... start with the darkest colors following the rule of shadows, and blend with the lighter colors to give dimension to plane figures.
I used Shaded Spruce Blends for the leaves.

Annual Tags Event 2

I really LOVE candy canes.  Not just for eating, but for what they represent.  One year I bought a bunch of full sized candy canes to decorate the tree.  It looked amazing!
The candy cane is actually punched from the flocked DSP in the Santa's Workshop Specialty DSP pack.  Everything else is stamped, and the bow is a two-step stamp.

OH!  Christmas lights.  One of my very favorite things.  I'll use this stamp set many times... even after it retires (which I hope never happens).   The greeting is featured from a boxed set.  I made this purchase for a few reasons.  1.  Christmas stamps!  *They're my 'thing'.  2.  The box is perfect for storing all of the Stampin' Blends markers.  3.  I liked the punch shape.  It will work great for small stamps, and be a nice addition for a greeting on the fronts of cards.

Red, Pacific Point, and Gorgeous Grape.  Stamped, punched, and popped with dimensionals.  I also added Wink of Stella.  Christmas lights should sparkle!

Sending Happy Thanksgiving Wishes to you and your families!

Annual Tags Event 1

I'm sending out a few posts with tags.  There were a total of 10 tags for this event.  With all of the DSP and gorgeous stamp sets out in this Holiday catalog, I could have kept going for many more designs.  Because of time constraints and other responsibilities, I kept it to 10 designs.

Designer Series Paper, die cuts, stamps, punches, and alcohol markers were the tools for this tag.
The North Pole pole was stamped, colored with alcohol markers, and highlighted with Wink of Stella for some sparkly snow.  I popped the bottom piece with a dimensional.
One comment I'd like to make about using the Stampin' Blends Alcohol Markers... ALWAYS buy and use the combo packs.  To get the beautiful shading of alcohol markers, you must use at least 2 colors.  On an upcoming tag, I use 4 different reds, and the effect is amazing!
Look how perfectly the Santa turned out!  He is cut with the die from the Designer Paper!  Stampin' Up! is coordinating the DSP and the die cuts for more options.  LOVE it!  He is perfect.  The background paper is flocked so the white stripes have a fuzzy feel to them.

This tag features an old (returning) stamp, and a hostess stamp set.  I just love Christmas stockings!
I used Shaded Spruce, and Real Red to stamp the stockings.  The greeting is punched out and added with a dimensional.  A simple, but very pretty tag.
