Peachy Thank You

This peachy card is a variation of something I saw on one of the Stampin' Up! training videos available to demonstrators.

There's a special technique used to get the dimension on the peaches, and you won't believe how EASY it is!!  I also used it on the leaves.

Ink up your stamp in Peekaboo Peach, and then take a sponge dauber, and daub ONLY the edges of the peach (I did the center where the division shows in white.) with Calypso Coral!  This addition of the darker color along the edge will give your flat stamped peaches some dimension.  It makes them look rounder, and more edible!  YUMMMMM

I added some of the Washi Tape along the edge, and used the new badge punch for the sentiment.  A super cute, quick card!

Happy Birthday Watercolor

This is a stamp set that returned from last year's catalog, and I'm so glad it did! I didn't use it much before, but when I made this card, I made 2 more right after for a friend and family member.

Concentrating on the new In-Colors for 2016-2018 has been so much fun!  They're pretty together and give so many opportunities for combinations!


The flowers and leaves are stamped off 1 time, and "Happy Birthday" is not stamped off.

Happy Birthday Spring Wreath

I'm on my new In-Colors kick - playing with them, working out how to incorporate them with our regular color line.

I don't use this stamp set often, but I do think it's so pretty!  I also use a tip I saw on either a blog post, or video.  When you die-cut the wreath, cut the center piece first, then line up the die cut around the outside to finish cutting the wreath.  SO much easier!


The bow is also a die-cut, but the little flowers are fussy cut. 
HOW did I get the Happy Birthday lined up in the center so nicely?  EASY!  Before adding the dimensionals, lay the wreath down on the card where you want it placed.  Ink up your photo-polymer stamp, and stamp!  I did some practice stamping on my grid paper to be sure the image was inked properly.

Remove the wreath, add the dimensionals, and attach it to the card!

Tip:  Cut the dimensionals into smaller pieces while still on the backing paper.
