Merry Patterns Inspiration

This card was inspired by another demonstrator names BJ Peters.  She used Lemon Lime Twist as her base color.  Since that color is NOT a favorite, I changed it out for Emerald Envy.

The Cherry Cobbler and Emerald Envy together are really great - as you can see.

After stamping the flames, I added Wink of Stella to make them sparkle.  I colored the jewels to match the stamping with Sharpies.

BOO!

HOW CUTE is this!  (If I do say so myself...)
I've been playing with ideas of the Eclipse technique and this one was just TOO cute!

A few things I've learned... use Washi Tape to position the dies as you cut the pieces.  Keep ALL the pieces!  You'll need the negative pieces as well.  Cut 3 or 4 of each letter in black to help the letters stand out.
I had a lot of fun with the potions bottles!  They're small but super cute in all the colors.  So many possibilities for spooky potions!
The ink colors I used from left to right are:  Lemon Lime Twist, Lovely Lilac (ret.) Bermuda Bay (of course!) Emerald Envy, Dapper Denim, Sweet Sugarplum.

Paper Pumpkin Fun!

If you haven't looked into the Stampin' Up! Paper Pumpkin subscription service you should!  You Should!

I did not subscribe from the beginning.  I resubscribed on a promotion and have kept it ever since.  Sometimes I'm not great at keeping up every month, but it's always refreshing on a break to dig into the kits and have some creative fun!

These donut cards were cute and fun!  Here you can see each design from the pack.

With Paper Pumpkin, everything you need is included!  EVERYTHING!  Stamps, ink, adhesive, dimensionals, sequins, rhinestones.... everything!

Over this past year there have been a variety of projects.

Treat Cubes for the Studio

These little treat cubes are too adorable.  They are 2 inch square cubes to decorate any way you wish.  With Halloween coming, I wanted to use this stamp set and DSP.
The cats punch directly from the paper!
Here you can see a set of them that are complete.  I tied them with burlap ribbon and added a bow to the top.
There are 16 and are available at Celebrat!ons Stud!o in downtown Bartlesville, OK.

Treat Bag Card or Gift Card Holder - Your Choice!

After starting a few more of these really adorable treat bags, I took this picture to show the difference just a few additions of color and embellishments make.
Here the crumb cake treat bags are already embossed with the cable knit folder - they are just boring Crumb Cake before that.  I already had the pieces stamped and adhered to the contrasting colored circles.

Below:  just a few additions to really make these amazing.  1.  The right piece is sponged with Soft Suede ink.  2.  Tranquil Tide pine needles.  3.  Fresh fig pine needle pieces.  4.  Early Espresso pine cones in 2 designs.  5.  Gold thread wrapped around 6.  Fresh Fig or Tranquil Tide bow.
This design is from a piece I saw from a fellow demonstrator, Robin Smith.  She comes up with great projects!
