Delicate Florals

I know I'm going to go crazy over these floral die cuts!  They are so pretty, and with what I've seen already, they are going to be amazingly versatile!

This is a CASE of a card I saw on a video from Kay Khaltoff (You'll find a link to her blog in the sidebar on the right.)  After I watched her directions, I put this together, changing it up a little.

With these new very intricate dies, you definitely want to purchase the die brush!  While watching her video, I saw that she keeps her foam pad inside one of the large wood stamp cases.  BRILLIANT!  It's contained, and all the little pieces don't end up all over the counter or floor!

After you've cut the die out of the 4" by 2" piece of cardstock, this card goes together in a snap!

In the materials listing, I'm showing 4 different ways you can pick up this sweet set.  There are 2 bundle packages saving 10% off the regular prices, and I've also listed the stamp set and die set separately.  Don't think you need to get all 4... by no means!  Choose the ONE that works best for you.

Painter's Palette One-Sheet Wonders

These two cards were made from just one sheet of 6x6 DSP (Designer Series Paper) with pieces left over for inside accents, and the envelope!

Each of the vertical DSP pieces are cut at 4" by 1", and adhered directly to the card leaving about 1/8" space separation between.
The two sentiments were stamped on vanilla cardstock, and cut out with the tags dies, and adhered with dimensionals.

Two really quick cards I made in about 10 minutes.  I know, because I had to leave for an appointment, and wanted to make these cards.....   I know what's important!

Thank You Card

I'm SO happy the picture turned out alright on this card.  It looks like a mess in person, but the Thank You in black stands out really nicely in the picture!

I over did this one a little, (OK, a LOT) but I was playing with a new stamp set, and my 3 favorite colors.  I think next time I'll do the same, but with much lighter colors, or stamp off the Melon Mambo to lighten it up a bit.  We'll see.
Overall, I like this card.  I know the background stamps are going to be favorites - I just need to work with them a bit.  Stay tuned!  I know I'll come up with something GREAT!!

I can see revising this with the new In-Colors, and some Washi Tape....  Hmmmm

June 25, 2016 Card Club (Part 2)

Good Morning again, Stampers and Friends!

This post shows the 2nd set of 2 cards we're making for today's club meeting.  I LOVE these!  I think they're so beautiful!

In the catalog these cards are used almost exclusively with the color Night of Navy.  Lately I've seen this card in other colors, and it looks fabulous!  I'm not quite ready to move away from the Navy yet.
Of course these cards lend themselves so easily to wedding cards, BUT I just don't need that many wedding cards!
People really do need Thank You cards much more often, and in the stamp set that coordinates with the die cuts, there are a few really nice Thank You's to use.

There will soon be a kit available to make these cards.  Click on the Kits tab to find the supplies and directions to make these two beautiful cards and more!

June 25, 2016 Card Club: Kits Available!

 Good Morning, Stampers and Friends!

Today's card club will make a total of 4 cards.... simply because I couldn't resist making more than just 2 so there are 4 cards to make in all.  Each set of cards use the same materials, just used in a different way.

These 2 cards are CASEd from my upline Kathy at the request of one of my club members.
At our New Catalog Event, Zandra saw these two cards, and LOVED them!!!  So we're making them today.

They're amazingly fast to put together...  Die Cut, sponge the edges with color, punch, emboss, some stamping, and assemble.
